Founded by a team of ambitious professionals, Pluma Construction merged a wealth of experience and skill into one company that has earned a remarkable reputation as a leading contracting company in New Mexico. The Pluma Construction staff have combined their strengths to create an unbeatable force in commercial and residential construction. They promised at the time they decided to launch the company that they would always operate with a quality foundation of unwavering ethics and quality workmanship. Combined, the Pluma Construction staff has almost 80 years of construction, commercial real estate development, construction management, design, government contracting, leadership, and professional experience.

Owner, Chris Pacheco, a Service-Disabled Veteran, is a 1984 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, and a 1988 MBA graduate of Boston University. Chris is a former Airborne Ranger, Gulf War Veteran, and Bronze Star recipient with over 36 years of professional, business, government contracting, sales, real estate development, and leadership experience.
